Windows 10: Win 10 won't start - some questions

Something happened to my Win 10 today. It quit starting and the blue screens pointed to trouble with winload.efi and \BCD.


My Macrium emergency usb was no help as it refused to recognize my regular Windows backups. My Win 10 repair dvd won't boot, guess I made it wrong.


Downloaded the Media Creation Tool to a usb and went to Startup Repair which reports it "... couldn't repair your PC."


Went to System Restore but it was no help as it wants me to "Restart this computer, select an operating system, and then select System Restore." When I restart there is no operating system to select.


I could try a System Image Recovery but the newest image is from Nov 2. I have replaced the motherboard and processor and memory since then. But with the same hard drive.


Do you think there is a better option than System Image? I can live with reinstalling Win 10 again, but wan't to keep all my apps and files.

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!
