  1. Does the installation date change when you update an application?

I'm trying to get rid of a miner installed recently on my PC, and when I go to the "Uninstall program" section of the control panel and sort by installaton date Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge appear as installed 2 days ago, which I consider strange because I've had those installed longer, maybe 3 or 4 months.

Could it be that an update released for those browsers changed the install date of the programs?
