Windows 10: Minecraft Beta Won't Download

I have tried multiple times to download and install the RTX Beta for Windows 10 Minecraft. I've tried enrolling with the Xbox Insider Hub, the XIH Beta, and nothing seems to work. I've tried installing and waiting for the system to update, for days at a time. I've tried uninstalling anything left over with the powershell function.


I am running Windows 10 with the latest updates with a i9-9900k and EVGA 3090 on the latest Nvidia drivers.


The Windows Store just refuses to update. It stays at v1.16.100.


It has been weeks now and nothing is working. The game refuses to install the beta channels. Can anyone please help me here. I only bought Minecraft to play with RTX. Nothing I do ever enables the advanced graphics options or any of the betas, not just the RTX Beta. The Windows Store just refuses to acknowledge that there's a beta option to update to.


I contacted support and had no solution given. I've run the update tool, the refresh tool, and after being told the situation would be escalated and I'd heard back in the afternoon, the support line went silent for the last 3 days overall. I got a form letter response with "try these basic tips" from the person I'd spoken with, which is something we'd done before it was escalated..


Windows Store will not start the beta update. I meet all of the requirements. I've tried everything I can think of. I join the beta or rtx beta, it goes pending for a few seconds to a minute, opens the store. I either click and install, wait 20-30 minutes to install, wait a few days to install, or restart and do all of those combos. It never pushes the beta updates.

Can anyone please give me some help figuring this out.

In this case I suggest a new solution:

Step 1. Open the "Xbox Insider Hub" app, the same one used to register for the beta;

Step 2. Click on "Insider Content";

Step 3. Click on the Minecraft Beta phase you want to leave

Step 4. Below the beta description, click on "Manage";

Step 5. Change the option to "Do not register" and then click "Done";

Step 6. Click "Accept" to confirm your removal from the beta;

Step 7. Uninstall the game and download it again to play the traditional Minecraft version.
