Windows 10: Upgrading CPU on OEM activated computer

I recently purchased an older refurbished Dell via eBay. It came activated with Win10 Home. Looking at the activation key, it's the Win10 default OEM activation key.

Unfortunately it turns out the computer was sent to me with a wrong, slower CPU. The seller is doing the right thing and sending me the correct one.

This may won't matter, but the computer was refurbished to Win10, and looking at the Dell service tag, the computer was initially on Win7 Home Prem.

1. Will there be any re-activation issues with Win10 when I put in the new/proper CPU?

2. What are the ways I can upgrade this install to Win10 Pro? Can I simply just put in a separate retail Win7 Pro key?

We want to purchase ten desktops. vendor suggested us that we can go with OEM cpus. he even showed that the cpu with upgraded with windows 10 also. is that authenticated OS?

This error may be due to an invalid product key. However, you can try the steps provided in these articles:

• How to Verify If You Downloaded or Installed the Latest Version Windows 10.
• Upgrade Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.

Windows 10 Pro OEM, upgrading the CPU

Hello everyone.

I have Win 10 pro OEM and am buying a new CPU (need speed), will there be any issues with the license?

ALL other hardware will be unaltered.
