  1. win10 migration from HHD to SSD

Hello Everyone, I've got an SSD which already has a an older version of windows and an HDD with my current win10 version. I´d like to know how to migrate the new version from the HDD to the SSD and then, how to configure it to boost the new one without having to erase the old one.

is it possible? is it worth it? will erasing the old version also erase my files documents, videos, music, etc?

Do I need to make a copy of the files first? if so, where to? cloud services? another HDD?

    Thanks

    :)

  2. Migrate Windows 10 to new SSD from HHD

Hi, i have installed a new SSD into my PC and would like to migrate Windows 10 into the new SSD from my old HHD. I do not have a USB or CD disk at hand and since im in quarantine i cannot obtain one at the moment. I was wondering though since i want to completely
reformat my HHD anyway could i reformat the HHD and when its fresh and only with Windows 10 installed could i then migrate the files onto the SSD and make it into the boot up disk without problems? Thank you!

    Migrating Win10 to NVMe SSD

I am going to migrate my Win10 to my NVMe SSD. Installation wise there should be no problem. However I cannot seem to be able to erase the old Windows 10 on the SATA SSD. If I boot from USB Win10 Installation media it only ask me whether I want to repair the SATA SSD Win10 or not. Any ideas on how to complete erase the SSD that currently have Win10 on it? I tried sanitize drive and PSID revert in Win10, neither would work. The SATA SSD is Crucial MX200.

Migrate Windows 10 to new SSD from HHD

Thank you for your reply, although the thing is that i do not want to completely clone my HHD since my SSD is not big enough for it.

Just if there would be a problem if i completely reinstall my HDD and then migrate whats on the HHD after a complete reinstallation onto the new SSD without problems? Thanks
