Windows 10 Start Menu Tiles have Lighter Coloured Tiles, Inconsistent Shaded Tiles.

On my start menu some of the tiles are coloured differently than the rest. in dark mode they are brighter and on light mode there are different tiles which are again brighter. I do not mind this but I would like to fix it if there is a fix.

in the image below you can see a few of the adobe creative cloud apps greyed out or lighter in dark mode along with doom64 and CE

in the image below I am using light mode and this time a different set of apps have a darker colour to them.

Also, if possible I would like to know why some of the icons are not showing up properly.

  2. Maxwell and Pascal "secretly" use tile based rasterization

I suspect this is still not full tile based rendering the way ARM Mali does, keeping lists of geometry primitives per tile in each hierarchy level. This seems only tiling of a rasterization step.
In pipeline after geometry is done, gpu seems to run full pixel shader with full gpu on each first level tile serially from left to right, top to bottom. Second level could be as well done in immediate rasterization mode but coverage pattern using tiny tiles helps with cache hits - remember, maxwell and pascal have multiple levels of cache in their gpu. Tiles must be appropriately sized by driver to ensure best usage of gpu cache.

    Custom start menu tile

I just installed the latest version of Dropbox (desktop, not app) and realised that they are able to have a nice looking start menu tile. Any ideas on how to replicate this effect for my other start menu shortcuts?

For instance, the Dropbox icon doesn't look too small, and the tile has a blue blackground colour that is different from my Windows accent colour.
