Windows 10: acer swift laptop stuck on flashing symbol after windows 10 update

hi i recently updated my acer swift laptop to the latest windows 10 update after the laptop not being used since last year. in doing so when i turn on the laptop it is just stuck on the flashing acer symbol. i'm unable to enter safe mode. i can enter boot mode by using f2 in which i have tried booting from a usb that has the windows 10 installation media on it. from that i have tried to do a system restore that did not work. tried to reset saving files did not work, tried to reset laptop deleting all files etc that did not work, tried to uninstall updates that didn't work, tried a start up repair that didn't work, tried to install windows 10 from the usb installation that did not work as i the upgrade option is not available. the custom install is the only thing that i can do from the usb but it states that all my files will be lost etc. before i take this option i have a couple of questions first is there anyway thta i can get the laptop back up and running without loosing anything. if anyone can help i would be very grateful as i am at my wits end with it. thank you

Multiple BSODs on laptop (Acer Swift 1)

The chkdsk displayed many problems with the drive file system.

Perform the following steps:

1) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
a) Health
b) Benchmark
c) Full error scan

2) Run HD Sentinel: (free or trial edition)
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Post images of each of these tabs into the thread:
Overview tab
Temperature
SMART
Disk performance

3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

Type: Y
reboot

4) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:

a: I get nothing on the health tab. I'm not sure if its due to my storage being eMMC (I had tried looking at my drive with crystaldiskinfo before and got nothing)

NEW Acer Swift 1 - Unable to setup Fingerprint

I recently bought a new Acer Swift 1 laptop, but I'm unable to get the fingerprint option set up. I've tried almost all suggestion from a previous thread posted by someone else, but I have not have much success. Please help!!
