    Two Computers Synced- how to unsync.


    Hi-


    I'm new to the Windows OS and am still learning the ins and outs. Recently I applied a setting that has my two computers desktops synced ie- all folders from on desktop show up on the other. I would like to turn this function off, but for the life of me can't remember what function it is, or where it's located. Thanks.

    Sync problems - how to unsync

    We have two desktops which were bought on the same day and registered on the same day, etc. Since then there is no way to "unsync" them. For example, when my husband deletes any app, link or file from his desktop, then mine is deleted too. And any app,
    link or file I add to my computer shows up on his, and vice versa. We have tried unsyncing via moving the sync botton to off, but nothing changes. Any help out there?

    Hi,

    To better assist you, please provide more information regarding your concern. If you are referring to turning off Sync settings in Windows 10, you can do so by following the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • Click Settings.
    • Click Accounts.
    • Select Sync your settings.
    • Click on the Sync settings switch to turn it off
      or on.

    Two Computers Synced- how to unsync.

    Unsynced OneDrive Folders

    Folders I've chosen not to sync to my computer from One Drive will not appear in File Explorer. Combined with the disappearance of the OneDrive App, the only way to access unsynced OneDrive folders is by opening a browser. Am I doing something wrong?
