Windows 10: Lockdown browser opens, says "Loading...please wait.", then disappears/closes and taskbar...

I have a lenovo yoga 720 that runs on Windows 10. I downloaded lockdown browser through my institution. When I click to start a quiz or open the app from "Files" on my computer, a lockdown browser screen opens, says "Loading... Please wait.", then the lockdown browser window closes/disappears and my taskbar disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, updating my laptop and restarting it, I tried chrome and edge, and clearing my internet cache, uninstalling it, restarting, and reinstalling it.

mouse cursor disappears on taskbar and on windows control buttons (maximize, close)

After installing Fall Creators update today, the mouse cursor disappears on certain elements.

• disappears on taskbar area (when in that area, also if taskbar is still hidden)
• disappears on maximized windows controlbuttons (maximize, close)

Reinstalling mousedriver and upgrade to newest Nvidia gpu-driver didnt fix it.

What is the solution?

After reboot pinned to taskbar apps Chrome, Opera & Firefox disappear.

WINDOWS 10 removing other browsers pinned to taskbar after reboot ?

I need to re-pin after reboot.

 

Taskbar hides and shows itself after opening start menu.

Steps:

1. Using HDMI for a second monitor.
2. Open start menu using the icon.
3. Close start menu using the icon.
4. Click anywhere other than the task bars. (e.g. an open window, the desktop, even the first monitor's desktop)
   
5. Taskbar on second monitor slides down to be hidden.
6. Taskbar then immediately slides up to reappear.

If after closing the start menu (step 3), you click on the taskbar, then click outside the taskbar, this behavior does not occur.

Performing the steps on the main monitor's taskbar does not produce this behavior.

This has been happening for as long as I can remember using this laptop (~3years), with different nVidia drivers and Windows 10 updates.
