Windows 10: Unable to reinstall MSFS 2020

    Unable to reinstall MSFS 2020


    Have been using MSFS 2020 since launch day. Have had to reinstall more than once, but has been stable for quite some time, until today.

    Started app as usual and was greeted by the "Press Any Button to Start" PABTS screen which was removed several updates ago by community demand. Rebooted and tried again, same issue.


    I decided to bite the bullet and reinstall; not like I haven't done it several times before. Uninstalled and prepared myself for the long 127 Gb download. Nope, after downloading the 1.6 Gb installation file, the Launch button magically appeared. So, I clicked on it. And get the PABTS screen. Wash, rinse and repeat.


    At one point, it wouldn't let me install to my m.2 drive dedicated to MSFS so I let it install to a hard drive. Same result.


    Now I'm in the infinite loop of MS tech support pointing to zendesk and back again with no resolution.


    Posting in the hopes that someone else may have some insight.

    MSFS 2020

    I already paid for and downloaded MSFS 2020, and played it. Now after doing the Windows 2004 update MSFS 2020 will not start, just goes to screen

    Hi,

    I purchased MSFS 2020 pro when it was released and installed it on my computer - all fine except performance was bad. So I got a new computer, uninstalled MSFS from my old computer (services/apps) and reinstalled it on my new computer. Although the performance
    was now great I only seem to have the basic version (only two aircraft). What do I have to do to get the original pro version installed?

    Can I reinstall Msfs 2020 that I got from the play store? I installed it on my old computer but wasn't satisfied by my performance. I had a new computer built and my SSD installed into that one. When I tried to launch it, I get error code 0xB03F8001.
