  1. Deploying Software from Windows Server 2016 to a Client.

I am attempting to deploy software from a Windows Server 2016 to a Client using hypervisors. Below I will post the ping results between my server and clients. I have followed the process to deploy software via "Group Policy Editor"

Server can ping client, client can ping server. Network Discovery is turned on. Firewall settings have been configured to allow "File and Printer Sharing Echo Request - ICMPv4-in. Client computers visible in "Active Directory Users and Computers"However unable to remote desktop in to client pcs from the server, for some reason

    Below I include screenshots.

I am attempting to deploy the .msi package "Chrome" to automatically Install on client PC's

    EDIT.

For some reason the "Install this application at logon" is grayed out in Properties. Unsire if related as im trying to depoly software to a client, not a user.

  2. Client/Server DVR Software?

I'd like to install an ATSC/NTSC tuner in my server and run software on it for scheduling and recording OTA programming. The server (Windows Server 2012 R2) already has DLNA media share enabled and the recordings would go into its videos directory. At the same time, I would like to run DLNA compatible software on clients that allow users to schedule and record TV, view TV in the DLNA media share, and also stream the live TV from the server tuner. Does such software exist?

    Suggested software:
-DVBLink TVSource (ATSC, €26) + AnalogTV (NTSC + FM, €26)
-Team MediaPortal (ATSC + NTSC + FM)
-NextPVR (ATSC) + SoftPVR (NTSC +FM, Hauppauge cards only)

  4. Deploying Software from Windows Server 2016 to a Client.

    Windows Server 2016 deployment

I am trying to upgrade HP servers from Winows 2008R2 up to Windows 2016 essentials.

I want to build the system and application software off site on an inhouse machine and the deploy it on site with a new 2016 licence.

I understand that Windows 2016 ties itself to the CPU serial number.

How can I install this software onto the new machine with the licence without having access to the internet?
