  1. Question regarding duplicating displays

So I have a laptop with the native resolution of 1920x1080 and a monitor with the native resolution of 1366x768. I don't really like the small displays of laptops, so I usually connect my laptop to the monitor through an HDMI cable. However, I've noticed that when I go to change the resolution, it shows 1920x1080 (even though my monitor's native resolution is 1366x768) which is probably downscaled. When I go to set the resolution to 1366x768, it comes out all blurry and not as sharp as it should be. Whenever I choose 1366x768 in games, it displays it perfectly fine but whenever I try to choose it in Windows, it's weird. I would appreciate if anyone can let me know a fix for this

    Duplicate two displays.

    Hello Barry,

To assist you better I would like to know, what is the make and model of the computer?

Meanwhile, let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

    Method 1.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display adapter driver and check. Follow the below steps:

      Device manager
      .

    • Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.

      .

    • Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic display adapter driver.
If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display adapter driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
    device and click on update.

    Method 2.

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to
