Windows 10: i cant update to windows 10 version 2020

I have a ASUS P6X58D-E with a intel i7 930 i got windows 10 pro 64-bit version 1709 OS Build 16299.1127 to work but if i put a newer version on it does not boot it stops on the logo I've tried a fresh install does not work I've tried manually updating but it does not work I tried installing Windows 7 and upgrading right to Windows 10 version 2020 still doesn't work I need help please
