Windows 10: Windows 10 product key question

I built my own computer about 3 years ago and bought Windows 10 pro from Microsoft. It is a digital key basically. I want to give this computer to my dad as he needs something since his laptop is slowing up for him and I will build a newer machine. If i reset this computer and give it to him, will the Windows 10 pro product key still be activated on this computer? And will the product key that is tied to my MS account automatically log my account into windows or can he use his own MS account? I intend on buying another Windows 10 pro license.

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

Dude, go to Newegg right now and read the questions and answers tab on Windows 10 OEM. The OEM copies that are listed there DO in fact, come on an optical disc. The flash drive ONLY comes on Retail copies.

 

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
