  1. Should I stay on update 1703?

So I reformatted my laptop and downloaded all the apps I needed optimized all the settings I need to optimize for smooth use and there it is, fast response. Unlike in the latest version I had a few weeks back which is 202H which is laggy as heck. So my main question is this, should I stay on version 1703? because it's very optimized rather than the later versions. I want a direct answer please or should I move into a certain update build instead?

    :)

Yeah as you said my next step is to install 1703 iso. But my doubt is, why I couldn't update directly?. Any issue with my hard disk?
