    Disappearance of my integrated graphics part in the task manager


    After a windows update when i casually checked my task manager the integrated graphics card part is not showing but at first there will be two parts for the graphics like one will be my integrated graphics and other will be my dedicated GPU , and now my dedicated GPU is being used fully due to which i loose lot of power in my lap top . but before the windows update the integrated graphics only will be used and it shows the workflow graph and all other things but now that particular part is not showing up ? can anyone please help me with this issue and guide me on how to bring the integrated graphics part back on my task manager.

    Windows crashing after clicking PERFORMANCE tab under Task Manager

    For me it was exactly the opposite. I had to select Integrated Graphics or it would crash when clicking performance tab. And yes, I am on the latest available driver for the NVIDIA Quadro 1000M.

    I had a similar issue for my laptop after a windows update, my task manager used to crash when I take the performance tab. I just got it fixed right now. May be this step will be helpful.

    Below are the steps i did

    1. I took the NVIDIA control panel
    2. I selected Manage 3d settings from the right panel.

      See the below diagram for your reference. In the Programm settings (Left side), I selected task manager and the preferred graphics processor as NVIDIA. For me Integrated graphics was selected as default. After applying this change, now I am not facing any
      issues

    Thank you for your reply. I apologize for the delay.



    If you are still facing this issue, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check.

    Update the graphic card driver by following the steps below.

    1. Press
    Windows key + X and click on Device manager.

    2. Expand
    Display Driver from the list.

    3. Right click on the Graphic driver and select
    update driver software
