    Migrating Win 10 to a second laptop


    If I migrated the Windows 10 OS from a complete up to date install on one Dell laptop to a second ssd that is installed in a second identical laptop... will Win 10 find the digital license key automatically on the second identical machine or will it duplicate the license key?

    Laptop stuck after login following initiation of upgrades to Win 10.

    Thank you for your prompt reply and suggestion.

    Followed your process with a little bit of uncertainty due to

    unfamiliarity with Win 10.

    However ran Win 10 update troubleshooter and that reported no problems.

    Now updated second laptop to Win 10 and that worked fine.

    Just a Win 7 desktop to migrate to Win 10 !

    Will use your process to troubleshoot laptops and desktop before updates.

    upgrade from WIN 7 to WIN 10 failure

    getting the error "failed in SECOND BOOT, MIGRATING DATA step" when trying to upgrade from WIN 7 to WIN 10. any idesa on how to fix.

    Dear Sir,

    In 2009 I bought a HP COMPAQ laptop with WINDOWS VISTA HOME.

    Recently I upgraded it to WINDOWS 10 PRO N, done online and DIGITALLY ACTIVATED.

    Now I have bought a second hand HP EliteBook 8460P.

    CAN I MIGRATE MY WINDOWS 10 PRO N TO HIS NEW // OLD LAPTOP ??
