Windows 10: Customization of Microsoft Hardware Macro.mhm file

Hello.

I recently purchased a Microsoft number pad.

I would like to customize my macro.

What is the programming language used for the .mhm file?
If there's the documentation for it, please let me know.

If there's no such thing, please let me know the table of characters & codes.


For example:

30 is assigned for "a"

48 is assigned for "b"

46 is assigned for "c"

13 is assigned for "="

Microsoft Mouse Macros

Will any supported device for Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard center be able to create macros? For instance can the Microsoft basic optical mouse create and use macros? Or is there a list of devices that are able to create macros using the Microsoft mouse
and keyboard center?

The issue is quite unclear and too broad for us to distinguish the main reason why you are having challenges/issues in Macro. To have a better understanding of your concern, we'd like to ask you some questions:

• Are you referring on using macros on Excel? If yes, what is the version of your Office?
  
• What exact application are you using when using macros? Where did you download it?

• What were the recent changes made on your computer before you experienced this issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Did you receive any error message?

Programming the Favorite Keys 1-5 to run a macro Microsoft 3050 Keyboard

I just got the 3050 Keyboard and Mouse. I'd like to program the 1* key at the top edge of the keyboard to run a macro (i.e., pressing the F9 key repeatedly). I can program the mouse's thumb button to do that, but can't macro that keyboard key. I see
that I can open a file or website, but can't get it to run a script or an .mhm file.
