    Jumper Laptop totally locked out


    Hi all
    So yesterday I decided to reset my old laptop and do a full reinstallation, to give to my son for schoolwork.
    After the reinstallation was complete I discovered that windows created another account called Other user I have tried all the past passwords I have created in the past and none of them work, I even tried not entering anything at all. so I decided to simply press shift and click restart to enable command prompt and type in net user /active:Yes but I had a message saying I need to sign in as an administrator to continue but there are no administrator accounts on this pc. I have tried to reset my laptop several times using different methods I.E. Keep my files, Erase everything, and then pressing f12 to erase all previous owner's details. I have tried system restore, restore other versions, startup repair, I always get Other user at log in. I can not enter Microsoft account details or log in as a Local user, I can not even enable the wifi, It would appear I am totally locked out as I have no idea what I'm doing in Bios so can not use that feature either. My question is has anyone got a solution that I have NOT tried already, please? or even assist me through the bios settings? many thanks in advance guys

    airplane mode totally locks my laptop

    Hi, yesterday all of a sudden my ASUS X555LJ is locked, and I see the airplane mode little LED is on. Can't do anything at all, no Fn+F2 possible, totally stuck. I did not touch anything related to wifi or airplane mode in the first place.

    After pressing OFF button for 10 seconds it switched off, but when I switch on the laptop, it won't boot. The airplane mode light is on. We left it on overnight and strangely enough in the morning we found a started and running laptop.

    Helas, just now again it totally locked itself and the airplane mode led is on.

    Any suggestions what this is and what to do, I have Win10.

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
