Windows 10: Remove "Mouse Gestures"

Discus and support Remove "Mouse Gestures" in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I was reinstalling Windows and Edge as well, looked up Mouse Gestures it found the version that doesn't work with the new Edge (Chromium based), now...   1. Remove "Mouse Gestures"


    I was reinstalling Windows and Edge as well, looked up Mouse Gestures it found the version that doesn't work with the new Edge (Chromium based), now I'm stuck with it and there is no way to uninstall it (or see that it's installed) and I can't find any information on how to get rid of it.

    It's pretty odd that Microsoft will still allow it to be installed even though the program that I'm using is not compatible with it...

    Is there a way to get mouse gestures for firefox? I'm using avant now and I'm addicted to them. I can't switch unless something has Mouse gestures.

    Edge Mouse Gestures Extension Won't Uninstall

    Hi Davy,

    Let us know few details to assist you better,

    1. What is the current build installed on your computer?

    2. Did you get any issue after installing Mouse Gestures extension on edge?

    This extension only works on Microsoft Edge preview build 14342 and later.

    You can refer the below link to remove extension on Microsoft edge,

    Legacy Microsoft Edge documentation - Microsoft Edge Development

    And install the Extension by following steps,

    1. Open Edge browser, select the “More” option on right, go to “Extensions”.

    2. Then click on “Get Extensions” and search for “Mouse Gestures Extension” from search tool or from the displayed list.

    3. Press the “Download” button after opening “Mouse Gestures Extension”.

    4. After download completion, “Run” it or directly open it from the folder where the downloaded file is saved. Double click to install.

    5. Go to “More” once again after the installation.

    6. Then go to “Extensions” and click “Load Extension”.

    7. Now go to the folder where this extension has been saved.

    8. Select “Mouse Gestures Extension Folder” and then hit “Select Folder” option to load Mouse Gestures extension.
