Windows 10: How do I install new LG 4K Monitor drivers???

Hi, I have 2 monitors set up that the NVIDIA panel correctly identifies by brand - HOWEVER, Windows 10 Device Manager still shows them as Generic PnP Monitors with the 2006 Microsoft drivers.

This was brought to my attention because I just installed a new 4K LG Monitor and downloaded the 2021 drivers from their website. There is no executable in the .zip So I just tried updating the drivers manually pointing to the files in this folder and Windows keeps telling me that the drivers are up to date as the best Generic PnP Monitor drivers...

So not only is the Device Manager still showing me the monitor(s) as Generic PnP but also keeps showing 2006 Microsoft drivers.

How do I install the LG specific drivers?? (Once this is solved I'll likely have to do the same for the 2nd monitor)

Does Win 10 have drivers for LG Ultrafine 4K and 5K, thunderbolt connection to a MAC

Dear Windznow, I’m running Win 10 home 64 in a boot camp partition on a MacBook Pro 13, with 2x LG 4k monitors. They work acceptably, a little shaky, but it coukd be me (new to multi display).

Microsoft says Apple is responsible for the drivers. There are no other drivers on LG website or Windows...so i guess what i’ve got is as good as i’ll get.

I did buy my computer in January at Alternate, one of Germanys largest sellers for computers and computer parts. Because I am working since Windows 3.0 with PCs and I have build a lot of PC by my own, I know what I want to have. Here is the part list of

I did a clean install of Windows 10 Home. And I really like Windows 10. Everything works fine, except the icon problem.

Step 1 and Step 2 I have done already. And I have done a lot more things people suggest in several threads. Some of these advises may work for lower resolution as 4K, some may work with AMD-Graphic-Cards but I have found no solution for my configuration
(4K + Displayport + Nvidia GTX).

That's why it would be very interesting if someone can confirm the problem with this configuration. If there is someone with this configuration please pull the Displayport cable and reassert it after a few seconds. If the icons have moved to the left side,
the behavior is by design and Microsoft should solve it.

If not, we can start to look what's wrong with my computer.
