    How do I copy a JPEG image using clipboard?


    I am writing a document in Scribus which requires a number of illustrations. I have to put these on clipboard in order to save the file. I am totally unable to get JPEG images onto Clipboard. I can get PNG files on there and subsequently paste them onto the Scribus document. I can copy and paste individual JPEG images but they do not get onto clipboard presumably they go via clipboard but do not count as one of the 24 or 25 items that clipboard can save and hold. This limits my ability to illustrate this document. What do I have to do to get JPEG images onto clipboard and stay there?

    Hi Randy,

    This might be possible if there is an option from the app to copy the file path of each clipboards. As per our research, the clipboard manager lets you copy texts but not images. We suggest checking the functionalities of the clipboard manager and contacting
    the app developer directly to have better assistance on how copy the clipboards.

    Clipboard can't copy images, expect from Snip & Sketch screenshots

    Hey, this is to inform you that my clipboard is copying text from anywhere, it's just the images.

    I just wanted to confirm that is clipboard capable of copying images from a folder and online sources?

    Does hibernate save windows clipboard copy file ?

    The clipboard is NOT a file. It holds its data in memory.

    The clipboard data does survive a hibernation.

    You could easily answer the question yourself like so:

    1. Press PrtSc
    2. Hibernate
    3. Return from hibernation
    4. Open Word
    5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard's contents.
