  1. Update error killed my laptop...

Around a month ago, I bought a new laptop Lenovo Flex 5 with Intel i7 11th gen and intel iris graphics and just a few days ago I was updating it and then it just became unusably slow so slow that my 7-year-old laptop was faster, The CPU was always at 100% even when I was not doing anything. I sent it to the place where I bought it from and they said they couldn't 'reformat' it and they would have to send it to the Lenovo dealership. After a few days of sending it to the dealership, I was informed that they will have to replace it because it was 'permanent damage'. I'm just asking what went wrong and how it went wrong? was it some malware? probably not I had an antivirus Mcafee total antivirus plus.

    :)

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
