Windows 10: Correct appearance of screen images on Windows 10

I hope someone can help me. I recently bought a new printer that required me to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windlows 10.

Now I'm in a learning curve that is very frustrating. Ever since the upgrade all documents and images do not appear correctly on the screen. They appear to be too wide...that is stretched out horizontally. Is there a way to correct this? I would really appreciate some help if anyone has had this problem. Thank you!

Searched around te net some more and come across a web page which suggests what my monitor has is LCD Image Retention where the crystals remember the image which in most cases can be corrected.

I followed instructions of creating one black image and one white image, placing them in a folder to create a screen saver which alternates between the two.

Left it over night, had a little look this morning and it appears the image retention is gone.
Will update if it is all BS.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Help, cant create windows image

It seems like some sort of an OS confusion has happened with your secondary WD Black and I'm sorry to hear about that. *Frown
Maybe re-formatting it would help indeed as the community already mentioned. I'd suggest to take a look at this step-by-step how to partition and format an HDD: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=PYCoid
Keep in mind that this will wipe clean the drive, so you should backup all important data from the drive somewhere else.
I noticed from the screenshots that your HDD appears as Disk 0, this means that it's plugged in the primary SATA port where the SSD (as an OS drive) should be. Actually it is possible that because of this Windows cannot create the image there. Swap the ports of the SSD and the HDD, this might help as well.
