Windows 10: Windows 10 Update - on Parrells Desktop on Mac OS - Unable to Download Updates - Error Code...

Hello I use Windows 10 0n my iMac on a virtual machine Parallel's Desktop for sometime 3 Years as there are some applications I use that only run in windows,


My windows have been updating regularly through Windows Update, However the last update would not install, and it came up with the following error message

Can anyone advise how to resolve this?

Vista x64 won't download updates?

The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused

What gives?

Mac OS X 10.4.6 Update Released

Apple has released the latest update from Mac OS X 10.4.5 to version 10.4.6 on both Intel-based Macs and PowerPC-based Macs. There are two ways to update to Mac OS X 10.4.6: Use Software Update or the standalone installer. This update offers many improvements, including:

• 802.1X login authentication configurations created in Internet Connect can now be used at the Mac OS X login window, too.
• You can now copy folders with files to an SMB-based server instead of only the folder being copied and this alert message appearing: "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items."
• Improves iDisk (WebDAV file system) performance.
• Resolves an issue in which Mail could unexpectedly quit when lowering the quote level within a reply message.
