Windows 10: Unable to connect video game controller to pc via bluetooth

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I have a nintendo switch pro controller that I want to connect to my pc via bluetooth, but I am unable to. I don't even know how, but the controller is paired already probably from before if it ever used to work, but I am unable to connect it even though it is paired. It works in wired mode for steam and stuff, but I want to be able to use it bluetooth. I hold down the sync button on the controller but the controller doesn't connect and just stays paired only. If this is the wrong place to put this post, just tell me I can delete the post. Otherwise, any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

I got the idea of removing the controller and attempting to connect it by doing the pairing process again but now this is all that is showing up:

ok now the same thing happened again i connected it but it is just paired rn and not connected again if anybody knows how to help please help

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.

Unable to connect PS4 controller to PC

I play video games regularly and I use a ps4 controller to play them. I use a bluetooth usb adapter to connect the ps4 controller to my pc, however, I always have to go into settings, click " remove device" from the pc, then connect with bluetooth and type
in the four digit pin which is 0000. I tried using the "windows key + a" shortcut to open the menu with all the connection options then click connect. When I click connect nothing shows up even though my controller is on pairing mode. Is there a fix for this
issue?

Hi,

If you encounter issues connecting an Xbox One Wireless Controller on your Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth, it may be because of an incorrect device configuration. Another factor that we have to take into consideration is an outdated Bluetooth driver. We suggest
running the Bluetooth troubleshooter on your Windows 10 PC. Here are the steps:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings >
  Update & security > Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems, select Bluetooth >
  Run the troubleshooter.
• Restart your device so that the changes will take effect.
• Disconnect then reconnect the controller and check if the same issue occurs.

We also recommend verifying if the Bluetooth device shows on the Device Manager. To do so, kindly perform the following steps:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
• In Device Manager, select View > Show hidden devices.
• In Device Manager, select View > Devices by connection.
• Find your Bluetooth hardware.
