Windows 10: Win 10 Pro 1909 Start Context Menu Semi-inoperable

I am having an issue with the Win 10 Start Context (right-click) Menu. I have done extensive research and tried many things but I can't make any headway with the solution. When I right-click the Start Menu, the standard menu structure is displayed.





I then select various menu items. Some of them (Shut down, Desktop, Run, Search, Settings, System, Power Options and App & Features) open normally.

The remaining items (File Explorer, Task Manager, Command prompts, Computer Management, Disk Management, Device Manager and Event Viewer) DO NOT open at all.

To make matters more confusing, I can type the menu item keyword in the Search bar and it will execute just fine.

My Microsoft Account has Admin rights. I have tried GPEdit, DISM, SFC to check Windows' file integrity and Permissions.

I wish I could see what is going on under the hood and preventing these other menu items from executing properly.

Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions of what to do next? Thank you.

Win-10-1909 start menu alphabetic heading removal

I recently installed Win-10-Pro-1909 from scratch and was wondering if anyone has finally found a trick to remove those ugly looking alphabetic headings in the start menu? I have searched for and read older threads on this subject matter on this forum and elsewhere, but so far it seems there isn't a solution to this customization goal yet. Thanks for any suggestions.

 

Windows 10 pro 1903 will not update to Win 10 Pro 1909

Notes:

1) Computer originaly used Win 7 Pro OA (OEM)

2) Reformatted the HD

3) Used Win10 Pro version 1903 to install on the Win 7 Pro OA (OEM) based computer.

4) Used the OA Product Key that was listed on the Computers Case.

5) Installation completed.
Program confirms activation is valid.

6) Win 10 Pro will not list an available upgrade to Win 10 pro version 1909.
