Windows 10: I have to change my pin far to often among other things

Discus and support I have to change my pin far to often among other things in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I am sick of being constantly told that my institution requires me to change my pin, i don't even have an institution?     I have to change my pin far to often among other things


    I am sick of being constantly told that my institution requires me to change my pin, i don't even have an institution? I have tried multiple command prompts and such from these forums but it never works so if someone has an up to date solution that would be great. Also, i can't change any of my security settings as I'm told "this option is currently unavailable". Like this is my computer, it's pretty bizarre that i have so many things telling what i can and cannot do lol. Any help would be appreciated.

    Pinning things to the file explorer on start bar?

    @Alfred001, if you hover your mouse to the far right of any name in the 'Recent' list you can pin it to the list of pinned items. This works for the File Explorer icon on Start and on the taskbar (if you have File Explorer pinned to the taskbar).

    Hi Scott,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

    • In the search box, type settings.
    • Then Click on accounts.
    • Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
    • Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
