Windows 10: Windows 10 Many processes occuring causes the Disk to 100% making the laptop laggy and slow.

I have a second hand Acer Aspire ES 14 with 1Ghz Processor.

The following are occuring since the day that i bought it:

• Right-clicking on desktop to refresh took about 4 seconds to respond.

• Launching any application took 10-15 seconds to launch, even file explorer.

• Typing is also delayed.

• Moving the cursor is fine, but, when starting an application makes it laggy.

• Closing an application is also a hassle because there's a delay before it close.

• Right-clicking on files on file explorer is also slow.


Conditions:

• I have alot of space in my storage.

• I have low spec laptop.

• I can't change the processor because Acer Aspire ES 14 laptop's processor is solthered to the motherboard.

• The laptop has great features such as HDMI port, 2gb DDR3 memory, 500 GB HDD.

• I tried to look update windows, but scanning took about 15 Minutes, Downloading is 30 minutes, and I can't install them because it says pending and i tried to restart the laptop to see if it will work but it doesn't, it just checks for update again.

• I tried to look for virus but checking took forever and i think it's not going to end and the result will be that it doesnt have virus.


I don't know what to do anymore, the more i find for solutions it leads me to a dead end.

I even wondered why did acer made a laptop with low processor but with good features.

Microsoft Power Service causing 100% Disk Usage

I appreciate the efforts you have taken in trying to resolve the issue. I understand that the Power service is causing 100% Disk Usage on your computer.



Based on the troubleshooting steps you have tried and research you have done, I would suggest you to try disabling Hibernate and see if that makes a difference. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Type command prompt in the
   search bar on the Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Now, paste the following command and hit Enter:
   powercfg /hibernate off.

Follow the steps to take backup of registry.

yes, clean installed windows 10. i leave my laptop idle while watching at my resource monitor disk usage, several services of system and windows and microsoft start using 100 percent disk making windows 10 hanging and laggy. atm im noticing swapfilesys
