Windows 10: Unable to add local user in Win 10

I found this when i am changing user name of my pc but when i enable administrator then i done some changes and change the user name but after that i found that all the icons n all settings deleted for the local user and there is no restore point where i can restore my laptop.

  How did you noticed that user is still able to access the drive?
  
• 
  Did you log into the local user account and check the permission?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below to restrict the user.

• In File Explorer, right click on the drive which you want to restrict.
• Click Properties.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click on Edit to change the permissions.
• Uncheck all the permission for system.
• Click OK and make sure the change is applied to all subfolders and files.

Unable to login to local user account in Windows 10 while in administrator account

To assist you better, I like to know; did you install Windows 10 through Windows Update or clean installation?

As per your query I would suggest you to check, if your Local user account is listed under all Users.

To check follow the below steps:

1) Press Windows key + R to open run prompt.

2) Type .. (double dot) and hit Enter, check if the user account listed or not.

Unable to add another user to my Laptop
