Got good mbps but still Wi-Fi causes problem only on laptop

Please help if you can. I got a Wi-Fi that's got pretty good mpbs on both my phone and my laptop but it still causes problem. I tried a internet test and the result was sometimes 16mbps and sometimes 29mbps on both in laptop and phone. But when I try to play games or watch YouTube or attend class on zoom on my laptop, I face a wall. Like YouTube lags, zoom cant stay stable and games cant connect properly. Where I can do everything just fine on my phone. Like clear zoom class, no lag YouTube and lag free gaming. So can you please help? Wi-fi problem

the 2.4GHz band is not the limiting factor here, it's the broadband connection to your ISP. Even a 2.4GHz WiFi card is capable of higher speeds than most ISPs provide.

What’s the Difference Between 2.4 and 5-Ghz Wi-Fi (and Which Should I Use)?

  3. Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password

I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

    1. Launch Control Panel.
    2. Click "Network and Internet."
    3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
    4. Click "Wi-Fi...."
    5. Click "Wireless Properties."
    6. Click the Security tab.
    7. Check "Show characters."
    8. Enter the password in "Network security key."
Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

WI FI SPEED SLOW DOWN AFTER UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10

When I have Windows 8.1 OS, I am getting full 8 MBPS speed on WI-FI as well as on LAN.

I tried with my friend Laptop having OS Windows 7, on that laptop I am getting full WI-FI speed i.e. 8 MBPS.

I also tried with Cell Phone, WI-FI speed is getting 8 MBPS.

As per your suggestion I checked WI-FI speed by disabling Anti Virus. but problem remains same.

When I search on google for this problem it is observed that lot of users facing such type of problem, many of them revert back to Original OS.

    So I need solution.
