Windows 10: Can't login but know password

Hi there. I was tinkering with the command prompt, trying to give my main user Admin benefits by using the following commands:

net user myname administrator /active:yes

net user myname ******

where ****** is clearly my password. A password that i just invented for this, had never used it before.

I restarted my laptop and when I tried to login, I couldn't, because of, apparently, a wrong password. I've tried with both the password i used before trying to root my device and with the password that i linked to the Admin user.

Please help, I can't use my laptop. Thanks.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

If it’s a Microsoft account please follow the below steps follow the steps.

          https://www.mail.live.com
          using your Microsoft account credentials.
          
        • 
          Reset the password of the account which is not been recognized in your system.
          
        • 
          Use the reset password credential and try logging in.
          
        • 
          Check if it resolves the issue.
          

If it’s not a Microsoft account Login to your Administrator account and reset the password of the account which is not been recognized.

• Change both your password and pin one by one.
