  1. Bug found in Windows Explorer

Simply put, if you delete a folder in an Explorer View, the main display area eg, the right side shows the folders remaining, however if you have the left column view as expanded, the deleted folders still appear in the list if you delete from another app or instance of Explorer.

I found this bug whilst I was re-organising my films library to be more compatible with the way Plex displays films, basically I was moving my films into the root of the Movies sub-folder rather than having them in their own sub-folder under that. This pic shows a File Explorer instance which reflects the actual content of the folder on the right but it still shows the content of the folder as it was when it first initialised on the left column - the two 'sinister' folders having been deleted externally to this instance.

If you close the instance and the re-initialise, the view then seen is then correct. This is a bug however as the right side of files and folders reflects what's actually there but the left side appears to only reflect what's was there when first opened. I am running Win 10 20H2 19042.746.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
