    Need help “unbalancing” headphone volume

I connected an old pair of beats wireless headphones to my laptop and realized that the left side is louder than the right. Every time I try to change the balance on the sound output, the left synchronized with the right. How do I stop this from happening so that I can make the right side louder without changing the volume of the left?

Alternatively, does anyone have any solutions for how to connect my airpods to my windows 10 laptop? They won’t show up in Bluetooth.

Unbalanced Audio / Auto Balanced Audio

I am having trouble with my computer auto balancing and turning down apps automatically. I want my headphones to be at the same volume that the master fader is at, like in the pic with the airpods. I have to turn up apps when I launch them when using my headphones. I've compared settings with both the headphones and airpods and could not find any settings that might fix this. Also, this may be a file issue but Discord is showing twice in the mixer (not pictured). Thank you!

    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.

Unbalanced Audio / Auto Balanced Audio

Thanks for the help. Its weird that Bluetooth headphones default to where the master fader is and the headphones default to where I last left the volume at. I wish there was a way to automatically reset to defaults like you suggested. After restarting my PC it went back to the unequal mix. Thank you.
