the tower has 2 ports for a microphone and headphones on the front of it, and a USB 2.0 section with 2 ports. I plug my headset in the headphones port and nothing happens, in fact, plugging anything in the headphone or microphone port changes absolutely nothing. But, whenever I plug my headset which also has a mic into the microphone section, I hear a few seconds of static which I usually get whenever plugging it in my laptop. I tried everything like troubleshooting, checking out how my other audio options work, and looking up everything that could help me in the slightest. I'm not really going to download anything or go too deep in this, I just want a simple "try putting the headset jack in the whatever" kind of answer.

Clear the 'cache' in file explorer for already used picture tags?


If you set some tags for your *.jpg pictures, the windows 10 file explorer shows them in the "details pane" on the right side.





This list can get very long and with some wrong or no longer used entries.
How can I clear this list / cache / suggestions?

Or how can I stop the file explorer to suggests already used Tags?

Yours is the best explanation I've seen... and as you tested that..

Like you, I don't see that drop-down list of suggestions for photo tags in the Details pane on 1 PC - I've just tagged a few for test purposes...

I can't recall anything I might have done to disable it nor can I find an option related to its beahviour.

But.. on my other PC - also 1903- I do get a lot of rubbish and unknown suggestions. And I've never done nay significant tagging.

 

Is Windows 10's File Explorer able to read ID3 v2.4 tags on MP3s?
