  1. Sound muted every time at startup after Microsoft upgrade

After allowing recent Microsoft update to run my laptop now has the sound device muted until I ask Microsoft Assistant to unmute my device. Soundbar shows sound is on at 50% and speaker is on. What can I do to regain control of my device?!

    :)

  3. Microsoft (C) Register Server.. Muting sound automatically

I play a game for a little bit and then the sound goes off and mutes itself. In the sound options it has microsoft (c) register server listed like 5 times with the muted symbol. Takes a full restart to get sound back just for it to go away after a little
bit. How do I fix this ? I've tried dep in control panel and system configuration neither worked

Sound muted every time at startup after Microsoft upgrade

How do I make Microsoft Edge always muted? Must be muted by default.

Hello I have an interest in muting Microsoft edge permanently. I don't want to hear any sound from any tab on it, but I do need to have the computer's other apps unmuted.

I have tried a commonly suggested program called EarTrumpet, but it doesn't remember mute status, or volume status for Edge, even though it does for every other program I have ever installed.

How can I mute Microsoft Edge? I will not be able to manually mute each tab, every time it is opened so I need a solution that will put it in a muted state by default.
