Windows 10: Windows 10 Wifi Disconnect Problem

OS: Windows 10 64 bit 20H1 & 20H2 both have same problem

Network Adapter: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11bgn WiFi Adapter


My "Windows 10" laptop wifi randomly disconnect from router the router condition is good, because other "windows 7" laptop still connected to the same router


So I try to trace the problem, generate a wlan report with command prompt: netsh wlan show wlanreport



8003 2021-01-26T00:16:08[+]WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully disconnected from a wireless network.

Reason: The network is disconnected by the driver.


8001 2021-01-26T00:16:15[+]WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully connected to a wireless network.


2021-01-26T00:16:15on this time, internet is already connected, and all looks good


80032021-01-26T00:17:20 [+]WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully disconnected from a wireless network.

Reason: The network is disconnected due to a temporary-disconnect request.

Question is:

1. After first success reconnected 00:16:15 , internet is already up, then why WLAN AutoConfig need to disconnect it again on 00:17:20 after 65 seconds with reason: The network is disconnected due to a temporary-disconnect request??

Important note: I checked all the log from past to present, on each event when wifi was auto reconnect, this"due to a temporary-disconnect request" happened every time exactly"65 seconds" after first success reconnected, then WLAN AutoConfig wait exactly"60 seconds" to reconnect it again for the second time.


Because it is exactly 65 seconds + 60 seconds every time it happened, I can assume this is not a random thing, but by "some setting" or "some code"


2. Who made the "temporary-disconnect request"? Because on the log not stated anything about it


Anyone knows about this "The network is disconnected due to a temporary-disconnect request"??

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.

Wifi continuously disconnects


This just started happening only a few days ago, I'm not sure what might have caused it, but my laptop will suddenly disconnect from my wifi network. sometimes it won't disconnect, but just stop receiving/sending packets. I can tell this because suddenly my pages are stuck loading and skype is trying to reconnect, but nothing happens until I manually disconnect.

I have tried

• Troubleshooting
  
  But I usually get "Your proxy setting could not be recognized" or something, even though I don't have any proxy settings.
• Uninstalling and then reinstalling the latest driver for my wifi card
• disabling power saving for the wifi card as talked about here
• Everything mentioned on the Microsoft page here

This has been driving me crazy, ethernet works fine. I can connect my phone to wifi and tether it to my laptop, so this shouldn't be a problem with the router.

 

Wifi and browser problems with windows 10


I'll tell you how I fixed an identical problem on a ASUS laptop that had run perfectly on Windows 7 and ran well on W10 from January until the Anniversary update in early August. I tried everything I found on this forum and two others. Nothing worked. The last thing someone suggested was disabling the adapter and using a WiFi dongle. Problem continued. Nobody suggested changing the wireless network adapter. I bought and installed an Intel 7260 WiFi card and just used the driver which was downloaded on the reboot after the install. All problems solved!!

I must have wasted two months reading and trying everything. Even the manufacturer support inferred I needed a new machine though they sent me a Windows 8.1 driver to try, with the same result.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to determine if they white list any cards and see if they have suggestions for a compatible card. They may want you to buy another laptop but if the cards aren't white listed, a simple card swap to one compatible with Windows 10 seems to be the answer.
