  1. Kernel Power id 41 no bugcheck report

Hi, i just recently upgraded my pc a couple of days ago, and it was all going smoothly at first but then when gaming, i pretty much only play destiny 2, im getting random restarts, in this sequence [freeze - black screen - audio of game - reboot] ive tried to find the minidump files in my C: drive but i cant seem to find them. all the temps seem stable. its not overclocked and ive completely wiped my pc and reinstalled windows, all drivers are up to date. ive checked and reseated all connections on motherboard and also loosened and re tightened the cpu cooler to ensure even tightness.

    PC specs are as listed:

    cpu - Ryzen 5600x

    gpu - sapphire rx570

mobo - asus rog b550-a gaming

    ram - corsair vengence 2x8gb 3600mhz

psu - corsair 650w semi modular

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

    1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
    2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
    3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
    Power Event ID 41

    KERNEL-POWER ID :41 WINDOWS 10

The error is caused when computer is powered off without doing a proper Windows shutdown.

You mention that you can only run the laptop on the power plug. That suggests a bad battery. Try this tip and see what it says about your battery

    https://www.groovypost.com/howto/generate-batte...

If it is a bad batter, and the computer is still under warranty, back to the manufacturer for a fix.

Since this is a power issue, do you recall the computer shutting off unexpectedly. You don't mention that happening. Make sure the plug is connected properly at both ends, ie unplug and replug it. If you are using an extension cord, try a different one.
