Windows 10: Since latest update, problems with logon, language, and mode

Logon: instead of place to enter pin, have to tap on airplane, but no cursor; keeps changing from airplane mode to wifi, against my wishes; ditto English-switches to DVR?. Any suggestions? All of these are constant, time-consuming, irritating problems--especially when I've typed a whole page and look up to find it's not in English!

Arabic language font problem

We understand the inconvenience you are facing and will assist you.

I suggest you to remove the language pack, download the language pack and set it as default and check for status.

To remove the language pack, follow the steps below:

• Click on Start>Settings>Time & Language.
• In the left pane, click on Region & Language.
• Select the language and click on Remove.

To add a language pack, follow the steps below:

• Click on Start>Settings>Time & Language.
• In the left pane, click on Region & Language.
• Click on Add language.
• Select the language from the list, download and set as default.

Anniversary Update results in Logon Crash

Thanks Erwinjames. I followed the steps listed and things have only gotten worse. Both the DISM and the sfc scan tools found no issues. After running them I tried the update again. No luck same problems.

I got a few new error messages on the update window. The only additional thing I did was wsreset.exe. this waa suggested as a solution to one of the error codes. Now my PC 'soft' freezes on the logon screen. By soft freeze, I mean that the mouse can move
on the screen, but I can't click on anything or type in any boxes.

I can still boot into safe mode but not much else.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Type settings in the search box.
• Click on time and language.
• Click on region and language.
• Click on add a language.
• Select the particular language and then make it as default by right clicking on the language and click on as default.
