What is the Best option for backing up a Shared Drive in WIndows

I have a home network and use a file server running Windows 10 Pro. I use windows 7 backup to make daily backups of local drives and that works fine.

There is one Linux device on the network that the server connects to as a shared drive. I would like to backup the files on that device, but windows does not include shared drives as backup "sources" you can easily back up to a share, but that is not what I want.

Is there a way around this using windows 7 backup or another software that will run on windows 10 pro and backup a shared drive? I have looked at options to run software on the Linux box to back up those files, but the choices are lame.

    :)

    Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
