  1. Driver still appears in sys32/drivers but not in Device Manager

a bit of background first: I'm pretty sure my install of Windows is irreparably broken and I should have reinstalled a long time ago. It had always had issues with any AMD graphics driver I threw at it, and SFC reported unsolvable issues that could only be fixed with reinstallation or manual repair in command prompt in the windows recovery environment. I never reinstalled because it took me so long to finally get it mostly working that I wanted to keep it that way, same reason I don't update any drivers.

I've been getting driver errors in Event Viewer for Virtualbox. I think every time it happens the screen flashes white, or there is some sort of a white tear. Looking at Event Viewer, this error has been going on pretty much since the moment I installed it, but has only taken on this flashing in the past week, I imagine because of a conflict with some program I recently downloaded that also demanded a driver install I suspect the program was LogMeIn Hamachi because it started around the same time I installed Hamachi and the issue was with a driver related to internet access. I uninstalled both programs through Control Panel, plus a few other programs I got recently that I don't use and require their own drivers. SparkoCam, Canon EOS Utility, Canon EOS Webcam Utility My problem now is that Virtualbox doesn't appear in installed programs, its network device the only Virtualbox device I could find is not in Device Manager, but the offending driver, VBoxNetLwf, is still in the /drivers folder in sys32. Is this a problem? I don't want to go sending any .sys files to the Recycle Bin, and I know better than to mess around in sys32, but it seems like this is incomplete and the problem is just going to continue.

Side note: one of the other recent programs that required drivers was Iriun Webcam, but I didn't uninstall that because I need it for working from home. It's a Wi-Fi webcam program that links to your phone camera to use it as a webcam

    :)

    device manager drivers/update/fix help

I need help with my drivers as they aren't showing up right in Device manager. I have double or triple entries in some of the categories; I have provided a link or file so that you can see what mine looks like. If anyone could direct me in the right path that would be awesome! I think the reason for my mouse studders/issues and also performance issues in the many games that I play is the reason behind these Drivers. Below is a image that I captured with gyazo that lists my devices.

https://gyazo.com/825cc09e1f38ba409bd23bd839c8aa08 <- (Device manager and problems w drivers)

    -BenQ XL2420Z 144hz
    -Logitech G403 Prodigy
    -Corsair Vengeance K95

-When I fix the drivers that I need will the grayed out devices fix themselves/disappear in Device manager? Also, if/when I get my drivers all squared away and updated.. let's say I have some grayed out devices that are still in those sections.. is it OK to uninstall those or not?

-I also don't have any idea what those Microsoft streaming devices in Sound are!??! Could it be something I need to turn off in BIOS or?

-Lastly, what's the deal with the WAN Miniports?

    Thank-you!
