  1. Popping YouTube audio after monitor upgrade

Hey guys! So, I've been having this problem for the past couple of months and I can't seem to find a fix anywhere on the internet. I had a 19' 900p monitor and I watched YouTube videos in 1440p just fine without any problems, but then I bought a new 24' 1080p monitor and now if I try to watch any videos in 1080p, the audio starts to pop and the video desyncs, with the sound lagging behind. This could be a hardware issue but I have GTX 750 Ti and an FX6300, and while they aren't the best for 1080p gaming, they should be able to play 1080p videos just fine without stuttering. Oh, and I should add: this happens on all browsers; Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave... Can anyone help me please?

  2. How To Change Monitor Audio To Motherboard Audio

    Hi Saurav,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In order to get clarity on this issue and assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

    1. Do you want to use your external speakers for the audio instead of the monitor speakers?
    2. Are you hearing the audio both from your external speakers and the monitor speakers?

Meanwhile, you may try the below steps to change the playback device and check if this helps.

    1. Select on the Start button > Type Sound in the search box > Select
Sound from the list of results.
    2. Go to Playback tab > Select your Sound System Device that you want to hear the audio from > Then click on
      Set Default.
    3. Restart the computer once and check if this helps.

We're looking forward to your response.

DPC Latency Scratching & Popping audio - YouTube playback

For some time now my audio has popped and scratched out a lot during YouTube or video playback. When playing music I have a car subwoofer hooked up to my PC with a splitter and cable. I play some bassy songs around 20-60hz and "Down In The DM - Yo Gotti 26,30,36hz" as tests and hear the issues as well.

    Windows 10 version 1909 OS build 18363.1016

Even with updating to the latest audio driver, or rolling back previous drivers make no difference. Sometimes in the DPC latency app it'll show the DirectX Graphics Kernel thing too.

Youtube Audio and Video go out of sync in Chrome

Just as a confirmation, do other video broadcast websites have the same problem?

If it only happens to YouTube, you could refer to the following steps:

    1. Delete all your cookies and cached images from chrome for all time.
    2. Sign out of your Google account and open YouTube.
    3. Open YouTube and click settings in the top right and sign into your account from there. (it will look really weird to do, not like the usual login for your account).
    4. Once this is done close the tab you used to login to YouTube.
    5. Open a new tab and open YouTube again (either through favourites or typing it in).
    6. Sign into your account via the button in the top right corner and the issue should be fixed.

If it is common, reinstall the graphics drivers and try with a shorter HDMI cable.

    Hope these are helpful.
