Windows 10: Windows 10 camera black screen

Hi!


I have been experiencing a camera problem on my Asus Zenbook UX333FA. The camera is not showing anything except that it is all black. It was working fine until the recent windows 10 update. Whenever i click on the capture, it displays error with code 0xA00F4292. I have tried troubleshooting it but to no avail. The following troubleshooting methods did not work for me:


1. Updated windows 10;

2. Reset camera app;

3. Allow camera through firewall;

4. Disable/Enable camera;

5. Update camera driver;

6. Uninstall/reinstall camera driver;

7. Uninstall/reinstall camera app;

8. Troubleshoot windows store apps;

9. System file checker; and

10. On camera access in privacy settings.


I also performed windows 10 reset but still did not fix the problem. Please help.

• Did you get any error messages?
• Have you tried updating the drivers?

Windows 10 camera showing black screen - any advice?

Hello, my camera is showing black (blank screen).

It is present in device manager and led starts when turned on..

I've tried all of the steps described in the suggestion in the locked thread here:

I've also tried to

-remove buttery + unplug

-re-install applications

-checked for win updates and run them

-flash the camera (to add more light)

-permissions

Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

System Model Inspiron 7559

seen many posts with different suggestions but nothing really helps.

Any advice?

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
