Windows 10: Audio becoming out of sync. need help

I am not sure when exactly this started happening..but iv had to put of with it for a long time now..and im without a fix. asked for help on a number of foruums with and a few discord channels with no luck..so maybe i can get some helpe here. on to the problem.


for whatever reason.. my audio will become out of sync when playing videos. tested in vlc player. windows player. it also happens in web browsers on video related content like youtube etc. tried on windows edge,firefox and brave. same issue presists. also it is identifiable by a slight crack or pop like sound during playback. eventualy making the audio become out of sync. pausing and resuming the video fixes it untill this pop and crack happens again causing the problem all over again, This pop and crackel sound is also present in games aswell. but audio does not become out of sync. I have tried changing different sample rates. it seems to happen mostly at 32bit sample rates. purticuley at 19000hz but it happens on all. changing the sample rate seems to fix it for a time but eventully the problem comes back again..Its driving me insane and i really want to get to the bottom of this.. I dunno what to do other then list my system specs.

Please suggest me best Audio Video Syncing application.

Hi Guys,

Please suggest me best Audio Video Syncing application.

I have created one animation with few frames and the i have adjusted the movement of those frames as per audio bit which I had connected to my ears while making that animation. but now I want to sync that animation video with audio file. I did that with virtual dub software as well but somewhere in video the frames left behind the audio.

Please give me proper suggestion of application which can do that.

• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run sound audio troubleshooter, it will automatically detect the problem and fix it. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows key + R and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View by: category and click on
  Small icon.
  
• 
  Now click on troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Playing Audio and Click on Next button.
  

Method 2.

Step 1.

I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the sound adapter driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Sound, video and game controllers
  to expand, right click on the device and click on uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done installing the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the sound adapter driver.
  

If the still persist, try the below steps.

Step 2.

I suggest you to update the audio driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• Now click on Sound, video and game controllers and right click on it and
  update the software.

If the above methods did not help to fix the issue, try the below method.

Method 3.
