Windows 10: Kross 6 LED Webcam There are no compatible drivers for this device.

So I got a USB 2.0 Kross webcam with 6 little led lights on the front of it from a friend...

Plugged it into my laptop...

It reconized it as USB20 Camera.


There are no compatible drivers for this device.


I Have googled for hours and hours.

Tried doing Windows Update nothing...

Any suggestions. Can't seem to find the software starting to get very frustrated....

Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

Hi,

Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

• On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Click on View and select
  Show Hidden Devices.
• Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
• If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
  Update Driver Software
• Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.

Windows 10 can't see webcam

We'd like to verify if you've already attempted to install the driver using the compatibility mode? If not, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Uninstall the webcam driver from the Device Manager. Remember to check the box that says
  Delete the driver software for this device.
• Right-click on the driver installer and select Troubleshoot compatibility.
• Under Select troubleshooting option, choose Try recommended settings
  and follow the steps.
