Edit: If you can't help out in the situation, an upvote for visibility would be might helpful ♥

I've been talking to Windows and Nvidia customer care for almost 2 weeks now and all of their solutions have been no help (most of them being Update to latest or reset Windows, nothing solid).

I tried to cover up all the details in my post but incase I've missed something or needs more context, drop it in the comments.

I've been experiencing this on my 2 year old gaming laptop (Asus FX504GE) where a game would switch to my integrated card mid game and causes heavy stutters + frame drops which almost always leads to a system crash. This has started happening after a shitty forced windows 'security' update (KB4598479) which is irreversible apparently.

    Specs:

    Intel i5-8300H CPU16GB DDR4 RAMNvidia GTX 1050TiWindows 1909, build 18363.1256

    Stuff I've tried already:

    - Update, revert and reset Windows (went to 20H2, reverted back to 1909, reset it twice)

    - Disk checks, memory checks, virus scans etc.

    - Suspected power might be the issue so I tried a bunch of different plugs but that's all I've looked into regarding this area, no fixes.

    - Read that Intel DPTF could be the issue, uninstalled that driver and thought it fixed it for a while, until it started happening again.

    - Reinstall Nvidia drivers and a bunch of other drivers, rolled back to old ones but still no progress.

Check the following screenshots that show the erratic behavior in my cards and might help understand the situation better.

It's been barely usable and I've lost my head trying to find more about this on the internet (mostly dead threads with no responses) or someone who can understand what's up and would be willing to help me through. I would be forever grateful if anyone can help fix this, I can't afford a new system soon and this is all I've got for myself.

Windows 10 and the Intel HD graphics card.

HI I Have an Alienware 17 with an intel HD graphics card and a GeForce GTX 765M. I Like to play some older games and after the windows ten upgrade my Intel HD graphics are no longer available when I hit the FN and I/D GFX key or can be found anywhere in
general in my system. Windows says that Intel HD graphics card is no longer needed in windows 10 but the GeForce card does not support many older games and only by switching to my smaller intel HD graphics card could I play them. How do I get my intel HD graphics
    card to work again??

I have a NVIDIA GeForce graphics card as well as an integrated Intel HD graphics card

I have a NVIDIA GeForce graphics card as well as an integrated Intel HD graphics card. I know that by default NVIDIA is disabled, so I switched the setting on most of my programs to use NVIDIA however whenever I change it for Chrome it still uses Intel. I tried changing the GPU back and forth couple time, but nothing worked.
I am using MSI GP62 7RD Leopard Laptop with Intel i7. My integrated GPU is Intel HD Graphics 630 and I also have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050.

Running intel integrated graphics along side a NVidia graphics card

    Hi,

I've recently built a computer with integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 for the purpose of playing Ultra HD Blu rays. Unfortunately I understand that Cyberlink PowerDVD 18 will only run off of the integrated graphics. I do however need my PCI NVidia 10 series
graphics card installed for playing videogames. I therefore need to find away of running both or at least switching between the two; ideally without having to uninstall and reinstall drivers or having to physically remove the graphics card altogether.

Is there a way to do this?

The only idea I have at the moment to install Windows 10 twice, one with the intel drivers and one with the NVidia drivers. However, I'm not sure if this would work and it wouldn't be ideal anyway.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
