Windows 10: suddenly unable to open and print pdf download of today

An important tax document from bank cannot now be opened and printed from edge nor IE11 browsers. PDF printer shows as current in devices/printers. Older downloads/documents open and print ok. Any suggestions?desktop HP pc - windows 10 - v. 2004 - os19041.685 - edge 87.0.664.66

Unable to Print PDF files

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the printer & PC?
  
• Does this issue specific to a particular PDF file or all PDF file in the USB?
  
• What is the program that you are using to open the PDF file in order to print?
  
• Did you try printing any PDF file that is saved on the PC?
  
• What happens when you try to print, do you get any error message/code?

PDF download and print

I am unable to download then print a pdf document attached to an email. It will not download the document, although it is listed as downloaded under "downloads" but the downloaded document is blank.

 

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
