Windows 10: Windows 10 Calendar App Search not working

As the title suggest search stopped working on my win 10 calendar app. When I try and search in the results area it says "That did not work. Please try again in a moment." Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone have a suggested fix. Note I have tried this on a surface 7 and an SPX and get the same results.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows 10 Mail & Calendar Apps Unable to open

If that's the case, we suggest resetting Mail & Calendar app by following the steps below:

• On the search bar, type Settings and press Enter.
• Select Apps.
• Locate and click Mail and Calendar, select Reset.

After resetting the apps, we recommend resetting cache of Windows Store:

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.
