Windows 10: ⇝ Printer not Printing In Google Chrome or Brave Chrome based Browser - But Is In Different...

Hi,


I have found that my Canon TR Series printer is not printing from Chrome Browser or Brave Chrome Based Browser, but is printing from Avast Browser and Firefox. I am receiving the error as shown at the bottom of this post.


I have also found that by going into the printer settings, that I can print a standard printer test page.


So I therefore suspect it is a problem with Chrome & Brave browsers. I could incidently print from Brave my default browser in the past before who knows what settings changed. But I do know that I have removed an old internet securtity program and installed a different one. But as stated - I don't think that it would be a firewall issue due to the testpage and printing from Avast & Firefox Browsers to be ok.


Incidently, I am printing over WiFi not via a USB cable.


I also tried re-installing Brave Browser to no avail. I personally can't see anything in settings, but I may have overlooked something.



If anyone has any ideas of why Chrome & Brave is behaving this way please let me know.

Google Chrome and Chrome OS......

Actually I have tried Google Chrome browser and observed that it Gmail works faster in Google Chrome explorer. So, yes I will definitely try Google Chrome OS also. And then, will reply again here, to give you the feedback of the new Google OS.

Brave vs. Chrome

I don't like Chrome either but I really like Brave and use it as my #1 browser.....I admit it could use a few upgrades but I'm all in for anything that is trying to protect my privacy.....And then my #2 browser is FF.

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.
