Reinstalling Windows: Windows detected that the EFI system partition was formatted as NTFS. Format the EFI system partition as FAT32, and restart the installation.

Just format the system partition and you will be good to go!!

I accidentally format the EFI partition and change it to NTFS

Reinstalling Windows: Windows detected that the EFI system partition was formatted as NTFS. Format the EFI system partition as FAT32, and restart the installation.

So I moved from Japan to the East Coast of the US and my OS drive broke so I am attempting to reinstall Windows 10 on an SSD.

Using Rufus to put the ISO I got from Microsoft's web page on the USB.

    - GPT Partition Scheme for UEFI

    - FAT32

    - Attach ISO

    - Run

Am able to get all the way to install screen where it gives me the error "Windows detected that the EFI system partition was formatted as NTFS. Format the EFI system partition as FAT32, and restart the installation."

Double checked and drive is FAT32. I have tried changing the BIOS settings to only UEFI and hybrid with Legacy support and no luck.
